In Grønå, both salmon and trout are caught, as well as many other exciting fish species. With its tributaries, including Grønå, Vidåen is probably the most species-rich river system in Denmark. One-day or three-day fishing permits can be purchased for the period from April 16th to October 31st. The shelter site was established in a collaboration between Tønder Municipality and Sportsfiskerforeningen Vidå. The shelter site is owned and operated daily by the fishing association and its members. The shelter site must be booked via the link to bookenshelter.dk.
