About this spot
This means that you must have close contact with the dog and be able to call it to you. The dog must absolutely not appear threatening or bother other users, other dogs, or wildlife. Dogs that do not meet these conditions must be kept on a leash. As a general rule, the dog handler is responsible if conflicts arise. The forest is open to all users and many children and adults are not comfortable with unleashed dogs. Call your dog to you when you meet others – including others with a dog on a leash – and ask if they wish to meet your dog off-leash before releasing it again. Note that at the campsite opposite Holtekollen, with a grill hut and campfire sites, dogs must be on a leash. This also applies at Holtekollen when there is snow and sledding activities.
