Børneskoven i Klejtrup

The forest has been there for a long time, and children have always been welcome. Now we call it a children’s forest, as it is truly good for children – and their parents and grandparents. There are different types of forest where one can play and enjoy themselves. One may build dens, play tag, find ants, flowers, run off the paths, and eat one’s packed lunch in peace and quiet. The children’s forest was created in collaboration with local institutions and volunteers and is therefore very different from the other children’s forests in Viborg Kommune. In the children’s forest in Klejtrup, there is: 2 shelters, a campfire site with a grill grate, Anemonekvinde as a wooden relief made by wood artist Susanne Ahrenkiel, a Wheel of Fortune, a site-specific map table, and an info board about life in nature.
