Børnehaven Nydningens shelterplads

Two connected shelters, located on the grounds of Børnehaven Nydningen. There is room for 4 people and they can only be used outside the kindergarten’s opening hours, which are 06:30-17:00 on weekdays. It is allowed to stay overnight in the shelters if the opening hours are respected. Parking is on Slangerupvej (main road 207), at the turn-off to Engledsvej. From there, you must walk a pleasant 1.5 km to the kindergarten along a gravel road. The fire hut on the property may be used, but firewood must be brought by yourself. There are no toilet facilities in the area, and if “one must,” one must go into the forest and bury waste according to Naturstyrelsen’s guidelines. Remember to extinguish fires and take all rubbish with you. There is a rubbish container at the kindergarten. Show consideration for nature, the children who use the site daily, and the neighbor. There may be holes, do not make these deeper. Shelters cannot be reserved – they are used on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
