Hørhaven Stranden

The site is located by the shore of Tystrup Sø on Hørhavenæsset. It is possible to reach the site by canoe/kayak from Tystrup Sø. The site consists of a lower part right by the lake and an upper part above a small slope. There is a fire pit, but remember to bring your own firewood. There is NO firewood at the site. It is FORBIDDEN to enter private property and cut trees. There is also a composting toilet at the site. Water can be fetched 300 m from the site, and 500 m away there is a flush toilet. Remember to use the site on nature’s terms and show consideration for both wildlife and neighbors. Therefore, it is not permitted to use soundboxes and other loudspeakers. Instead, listen to the sounds of nature or bring a guitar for the campfire. The site cannot be booked. It is a drop-in site, and if it is fully occupied, you are referred to Hørhavegaard tent site.
