About this spot
In Annebjerg Skov, there is a shelter with a campfire site and a grill. The shelter is located on a hill in a clearing in the forest. The shelter has space for approximately four people. The shelter must be booked, which can be done up to three months in advance, and for a maximum of two nights at a time. The shelter is located in a free camping forest, which means that tents may be pitched next to the shelter and elsewhere in the forest. For tent pitching, the rules state that it is only permitted to stay one night in the same spot, a maximum of two tents may be pitched in the same spot, and the tents may accommodate a maximum of three people. There is no tap at the shelter, but at the nearest parking lot, located 500 meters from the shelter, there is also a tap, a toilet with running water, and a packed lunch house in an old Barklade. You must bring your own firewood. Fires are only allowed at the officially established campfire site in front of the shelter. Upon arrival by car, the nearest parking lot is at Egebjergvej 172, 4500 Nykøbing Sjælland. From here, it is approximately 500 meters from the parking lot to the shelter site via a hilly gravel path and footpaths. There are no waste bins at the shelters or the campfire hut, so whatever you bring on your trip, you must also take home. The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Foundation.
