About this spot
The overnight site is very primitive and is located directly on the forest floor. The site is not particularly even and is only equipped with a campfire site. The grass is mown once a year, so you must expect long grass for parts of the year. The overnight site is open to everyone for both overnight stays and enjoying a campfire. Use and stay are free. The site operates on a first-come, first-served basis. There is room for 1-2 small tents at the site. Overnight stays are limited to two nights at the site. You are welcome to light fires at existing campfire sites. You may gather wood for the fire in the surrounding forest and thicket. Remember to check for any fire bans. Extinguish the fire thoroughly, ensuring no embers remain, or stay until the fire has completely burned out. The nearest toilet with water is at the parking lot at Søndre Landevej 18B, approx. 1.4 km away. Access to the site is possible on foot from the coastal path or by bike on the bike path. It is also possible to arrive on foot with parking along Søndre Landevej. From the shelter site, follow the coastal path to the south-east. Where the path goes down a staircase to the beach, a footpath is marked with the tent site further along the coast. If you come via the coastal path on the beach, turn right onto the path just after you have come up the stairs. Coordinates: 55.051233, 14.806574.
