About this spot
Musvågen is surrounded by birch forest just one kilometer from the scenic Gurre Sø. The shelter can accommodate 2-3 overnight guests, and it is also possible to pitch a couple of tents within 20 meters of the shelter. Water must be brought by yourself. There is no fire pit at the shelter site. The shelter site must be left tidy, and all trash must be carried out of the forest. The shelter cannot be booked, but is instead used on a first-come, first-served basis. The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Foundation.
