About this spot
Large shelter with space for an entire school class, located in the middle of Kongskilde in hilly terrain with meadows, pastures, thickets, and forest. Free-ranging grazing animals are present here. Expect to walk almost a kilometer on foot to fetch water at Kongskilde Naturcenter. A primitive toilet without water is located in the immediate vicinity of the shelter. Firewood may be gathered from the forest floor or brought along. The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Foundation.
