Hadbjerg Skov Shelterplads

The shelter site contains 3 shelters with a fire pit, accommodating a total of 9 guests. Located centrally in the forest on a hill with a view over fields and the surrounding landscape. Bring your own water and firewood. There is no toilet, and it cannot be booked. Hadbjerg skov is a forest with an orchard, picnic house, lake, stream, deciduous forest, shelters, and a dog forest. The forest is 50,000 m² and contains more than 30,000 trees. Established in collaboration with Hadbjerg Residents’ Association, Favrskov Municipality, and Growing Trees Network. We help secure groundwater, bind CO2, and provide better living conditions for animals and people in Hadbjerg. Access to the new forest is via a path from Smedebakken or Højvangsvej in Hadbjerg. Parking is available at the end of Højvangsvej.
