Bryrupbanestien, Lundum (shelter 1)

Site with two shelters, a forest outhouse, drinking water, waste bins, a table-and-bench set, and a bonfire site. The site is located on the east side of Bryrupbanestien (bicycle route 31, Horsens-Silkeborg), approximately 350 m south of Lundum and 3.5 km north of Lund. There are shopping opportunities in Lund. The site is designed as an overnight accommodation option for hikers and cyclists on Bryrupbanestien. The site has good sheltered conditions, surrounded by embankments to the south and east. There is firewood for the bonfire site (bring your own saw or axe). Advance booking: You can book priority for an overnight stay in one of the shelters; the other shelter can be used on a first-come, first-served basis. On this page, you can book “shelter 1”. You can have a maximum of two consecutive overnight stays. Booking can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelter before 8 PM, otherwise, your priority will be forfeited. The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Foundation.
