About this spot

The drained Juelstrup Lake was re-established in 2011 as a local recreational area for Støvring. The natural area is approximately 90 ha with a lake, bathing beach, meadows, forest, etc. The area is continuously being developed with the construction of running/walking paths, bridle paths, a nature base with a campfire hut and equipment for schools and kindergartens, resting areas with opportunities for primitive overnight stays, a nature fitness trail, an experience forest for children with 27 different trees and bushes, and a 10 ha dog forest.
