Ferup Sø - Shelter 2

Shelter site close to Troldhedestien with a great view over Ferup Lake. There are a total of 3 shelters in the area – but slightly separated from each other. Each shelter has its own grill and fire pit, and additionally, there is access to a shared composting toilet. Bring your own firewood and water, as well as toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The individual shelters can accommodate 6-8 people, and shelters 2 and 3 can be booked directly via the “Book here” button or through Naturstyrelsen’s booking system. Note that your booking will be canceled if you have not arrived at the site by 8:00 PM at the latest. However, if no one has booked the spot, it is available to anyone wishing to settle down for a shorter or longer period – perhaps just for a brief rest around the fire pit or for an overnight stay. Driving on Troldhedestien is not permitted. Any parking should be done at Dybvadbro Station, Egtvedvej 132, 6000 Kolding. From here, follow Troldhedebanen to the west. After approximately 2 km, you will arrive at the shelters.
