About this spot
The site is located in Hestedalen in Frederikshåb Plantage on a deflation plain between two sand dunes. There is a campfire site with a grill. If you want to ensure dry wood, you must bring your own, but it is otherwise permitted to gather wood from the forest floor for use at the campfire site. The tent site cannot be booked. Access is on a “first come, first served” basis. The parking lot on Rybjergvej at Midtervej is the closest. From there, it is approximately 800 meters to the campsite.
