If you wish to stay overnight in nature, there are several options in Vrangeskov. You can use one of the two shelters. Or you can take your tent and pitch it in the forest. Free camping is allowed in the southern part of Vrangeskov. This is in the area south of Haraldstedvej, the area that extends down towards the lake. Free camping means you can pitch a tent anywhere. You must clean up after yourself and take your waste with you. Furthermore, you must adhere to the 1-2-3 rule. You may only stay one night in the same spot. You may pitch a maximum of two tents in the same spot. And tents must be a maximum of three-person tents.
