Our primitive tent site offers a unique opportunity to unplug and experience nature up close in a protected area in beautiful Oksbøl. Only 800 m from the popular Coast to Coast route and 1.5 km from Oksbøl town, this is the ideal spot for hikers and cyclists seeking tranquility and authenticity in nature. Peaceful Location: The tent site is located only 50 meters from the neighbor’s red deer enclosure, and the surrounding field is fallow, meaning nature is allowed to flourish. Here you can experience rich wildlife with pheasants, partridges, roe deer, hares, foxes, and much more. Also look out for the majestic falcons and buzzards that often soar over the field. The site is surrounded by tall grass, offering animals good opportunities to hide, creating a perfect setting for an authentic nature experience. Close to Nature: Pitch your tent at this primitive site, which has room for a single tent, and enjoy the simplicity and peace of nature. There is a small bench at the site where you can sit and take it all in. Although the site is only 300 meters as the crow flies from our property and 500 meters from the main road, it is a peaceful place. Sometimes you can hear the sound from the road if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction, but otherwise, the sounds of nature are the only ones filling the air. Unique Experiences: With only 800 m to the Coast to Coast route, our site is a perfect pit stop for hikers and cyclists seeking a night in nature. In the evening, you can watch red deer pass by or listen to birds of prey above you, making this spot an unforgettable part of your journey. Practical Information: Location: Oksbøl, Denmark - Distances: 1 km from the Coast to Coast route, 1.5 km from Oksbøl - Access: Easily accessible via paths through the area. - Facilities: The site is primitive but offers a small bench and space for a single tent. Bring your own equipment. - Water: It is possible to refill clean drinking water at our house. Note: - There are no toilet facilities – you must therefore be self-sufficient and leave the area as you found it. - The site must be booked and confirmed via email before arrival.
