Fjelsø Klostrup Beboerforening has established a picnic shelter, with an associated shelter, campfire pit, and new disabled access toilet. It is located at Ettrupvej 2, Fjelsø, 9620 Aalestrup, right by the lakeside. Activities and facilities by the lake Fishing and equipment It is permitted to fish for roach in the lake. You are also welcome to use our underwater binoculars and other activity equipment. Campfire pit and equipment At the campfire pit, firewood is available, as well as pots, pans, and other necessary equipment. Pedal boat in summer During the summer season, a pedal boat is available in the lake. For only 30 DKK, you can take a ride around. Life vests are available in the picnic shelter and must be used for all boating. Playground nearby 300-400 meters from the picnic shelter is the town’s playground at Fjelsø Friskole (Knabervej 120, Fjelsø, 9620 Aalestrup). Outside of regular school hours, the playground is open to everyone. Overnight stay and shelter It is permitted to stay overnight for one night at a time. The shelter can accommodate 5-6 persons. The use of facilities operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Rules of conduct are posted in the picnic shelter and must be followed when using the site.
