Tumlinge Vang Nord teltplads

The overnight site is located north of the forester’s house Tumlingehus in Søskoven, where you can pitch your tent with a prime view of Esrum Sø. The site can accommodate 7 tents. The site cannot be booked but is available for free use on a “first-come, first-served” basis. You must bring your own water and firewood. It is, however, permitted to collect dead branches from the forest floor, but trees must not be cut down. Remember to take trash with you and extinguish the fire before leaving the site. The site includes two picnic table sets and a fire pit with an L-shaped bench. Parking: Parking lot by Gillelejevej or Frederiksværksvej / a walk of approx. 1.5 to 2 km along the forest roads. The site also has a resting paddock for horses.
