At the nature base, there are opportunities for experiences, challenges, working up a sweat, and gaining in-depth knowledge. In the shelters, bedtime stories are posted which – in addition to good narratives – offer knowledge about flowers and bees, as well as information on why the marsh hag brews, the elf girls dance, and will-o’-the-wisps are seen in the dark. At the nature base, you will find a range of educational programs based on play and learning. If you walk approximately 500 m on the other side of Simested Å, you will find a small round trip in Spejderskoven. Here you can compete with animals by challenging their skills. If you fancy an exercise trip in the forest, you will also find signs and videos with inspiration for nature fitness. Close to Rosenparken (100 m outside) you will also find a movement park.
