Shelterplads i Larsens Skov, Årre

In a small forest close to the stadium and Årre Børnecenter, there is an area with a Packed Lunch House and a site with overnight accommodation in two new shelters. The small shelter “Ask” is designed for approx. 4 people, and the large shelter “Birk” has space for 6-8 people. At the shelter site, there is a fire pit with grill facilities and a picnic table and bench set. There is access to water and a composting toilet in the forest behind the Packed Lunch House. Firewood is available in limited quantities at the fire pit; it is recommended to bring your own firewood or charcoal. There are no waste bins at the site, so all waste must be taken from the site. There is no parking directly near the site. Parking spaces are available at Årre Børnecenter, approx. 600 m from the site. It is possible to book one or both shelters through the bookinaturen.dk portal.
