Jægersborg Hegn, Shelter "Den Hemmelige"

By the shelter, you will find a fire pit with a grill and a table/bench set. Bring bags for collecting your own trash, toilet paper, and wet wipes. Leave the site clean, as you would wish to find it yourself. It is permitted to gather small wood for firewood, but if you want to be sure of something dry, you should bring your own firewood or charcoal. It can be a good idea to bring a small saw, a small splitting axe, and firelighters. Never saw into living trees! You are welcome to pitch a few smaller (2-3 person) tents at the site if there are more of you. Also, follow the instructions on the info sign at the site. Advance booking: You can book priority for overnight stays in the shelter. You can stay for a maximum of two consecutive nights in the shelter. It is only the shelter you are booking. Others can simultaneously use the facilities, pitch tents at the site, and share the fire pit. Booking can be made at the earliest 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelter before 8 PM, otherwise your priority lapses. Access: The nearest parking spaces can be found at Skodsborg St. and along Skodsborgvej.
