Grund Skov Shelter 2

Welcome to the primitive overnight site. The overnight site is open to everyone for both overnight stays and campfire enjoyment. Use and stay are free of charge. Shelter 2 can be booked on udinaturen.dk – use the “ONLINE BOOKING” button on this page. Here you can also see if the shelter is booked by others. Booking the shelter means you have priority for that specific shelter - not for the entire site, which others are also welcome to use while you are here. If the site is full, you can find alternative overnight sites and areas with free tenting on udinaturen.dk. The site is suitable for setting up 3-4 smaller tents. You may stay overnight for up to two consecutive nights at the site. There is access to a composting toilet – bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. If you want to be sure of dry wood, you must bring your own, but it is otherwise permitted to gather wood from the forest floor for use at the campfire site. Access to the site from the land side is through Grund Skov - but all parking must be at Den Røde Lade, approx. 1 km from the shelter. Driving in the forest is subject to a fee/fine. It is not allowed to play loud music or create other noise that disturbs animals and other people. Take your trash with you when you leave the site.
