Shelter Jøvet, Fyns Hoved

The shelter at Jøvet has room for approx. 6 people, and the site is arranged for a maximum of 10 people. The shelter is intended for stays of a maximum of 2 days/nights. At the shelter site, there is a table with benches and a campfire site with a grill grate. The shelter site is located on top of the hill bordering the forest. From the shelter site, there is a sea view over Tornen. You can collect firewood in the small forest behind the shelter. During the summer half-year, you can use the toilet below Jøvet, where you can also fetch water. Be considerate of the animals grazing in the enclosure that borders the shelter site. Noise and loud music are strictly forbidden, and remember to bring your waste home! The shelter site was established as part of the LIFE Overdrev project II, which aims to improve and restore the natural habitat type dry grassland, so that it continues to be a good habitat for animals and plants.
