Kongelunden, Shelter Længestehøj

At the shelter, there is a campfire site with a grill and a table and bench set. Bring bags for collecting your own waste, toilet paper, and wet wipes. Leave the site clean, as you would wish to find it. It is permitted to collect small wood for firewood, but if you want to ensure dry wood, you should bring your own firewood or charcoal. It can be good to bring a small saw, a small splitting axe, and fire starters. Never saw into living trees! You are welcome to pitch a few smaller (2-3 person) tents on the site if there are more of you. Also, follow the instructions on the information sign at the site. There is a primitive composting toilet approximately 400m away at the campsite “Bjarke bo.” Bring your own toilet paper. Pre-booking: You can book priority for overnight stays in the shelter. You can stay a maximum of two consecutive nights in the shelter. You are only booking the shelter. Others can simultaneously use facilities and pitch tents on the site and share the campfire. Booking can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelter before 8 PM, otherwise your priority will be forfeited.
