About this spot

Badesøen is one of Læsø’s many artificially constructed lakes. The water is relatively shallow, and the lake quickly becomes warm for swimming in summer. At Badesøen, a shelter with a campfire site, drinking water (in summer), a composting toilet, and table-bench sets have also been established. There are wheelchair-accessible table-bench sets with an access ramp at the edge of Badesøen. Parking is located quite close by on Blågranvej southeast of the lake. To ensure bathing water quality, it is not permitted for dogs and horses to swim in the lake, and if dogs leave a “høm-høm” or horses a horse droppings by the lakeside, they should be immediately removed by the owner.
