Lykkens Have i Esbjerg Bypark

In Lykkes Have, there are no fixed rules for how to play. Instead, there is room for curiosity, courage, and small adventures, where children can explore their surroundings at their own pace. Nature is an active part of the play with small hills, hidden spaces, and places that invite both wild games and quiet breaks. The playground is located in Esbjerg Bypark and is inspired by Asger Jorn’s painting Lykkens Have, transforming art into play, movement, and sensory experiences at children’s level, especially for those aged 0–6. Pack some snacks, put on your outerwear – and take your time to play. NOTE: The playground is not finished yet. Several elements are still missing in Lykkens Have. Among other things, a slide, a carousel, more swings, and willow huts will be added. Additionally, the paving will be improved, and some of the bridges will be repaired. (19.03.2026)
