About this spot
The shelter site is located directly by Tryggevælde Å, where it meets the re-meandered stream Storkebækken. The site consists of a new and an old shelter. The new one can be booked on Udinaturen.dk, however, for a maximum of 2 consecutive nights. The site also includes a campfire site, tables and benches, and a primitive outdoor toilet/outhouse. (Bring your own toilet paper). Use of the site is free and open to all. It cannot be guaranteed that there will be firewood for the campfire site. The new shelter has room for 6 people and the old one for 4. Access to the shelter site is via a foot trail, which starts about 400 meters away at the main road. The path’s route is shown on a map by the main road and is also marked with wooden posts with red tops. Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash.
