Vejlefjordskolen

The three shelters are located on a slope – a scenic spot overlooking Vejle Fjord. In front of the 3 shelters, there is a campfire site with tables/benches. Bake twist bread or catch fresh fish in Vejle Fjord (requires a fishing license) and cook them over an open fire. Shelters offer good opportunities for overnight stays in nature, but still with a roof overhead. Bring your sleeping bag and possibly a sleeping mat for the overnight stay. Here you can fall asleep to the sound of Vejle Fjord’s waves against the shore, and wake up with the morning sun on your face. Perhaps in the company of a porpoise or a seal in sight, and with a view of Vejle Fjord Bridge. There is room for 4-5 people in each of the 3 shelters. It costs 25 DKK per person per night, payable via MobilePay 40523. You can reserve a shelter by sending an email to [email protected]. A spot is only reserved once you have received an email confirmation. The shelters are located on Vejlefjordskolen’s grounds, and therefore alcohol and tobacco are NOT permitted.
