About this spot
The shelter is located right by the fjord and is easy to access from the waterside and from the car park at Kattingeværk. There is a campfire site with a grill in front of the shelter. You must bring your own firewood, but you are permitted to gather dry branches and twigs from the forest floor for the fire. A compost toilet is located in the immediate vicinity. There is no drinking water. Tents are not allowed, and all waste must be taken with you when leaving the shelter. Bookings can be made a maximum of 3 months in advance and for a maximum of 2 nights.
