Welcome to KFUM Gørding’s scout meadow; here you will find 3 shelters built in collaboration with Gørding local council, and there is also a campfire site with a fixed grill grate, and picnic tables. Running water and a toilet can be found at the gable end of the scout house. From the shelters, you have a view over Holsted Å; along the river there is a footpath that leads to the town’s new residential area. The gravel road by the shelters is part of the Hjertestien trail, which is 4.4 km long and takes you through the town’s Verdensskov (World Forest). Each shelter can accommodate 5-6 people. An overnight stay costs DKK 25 per person. Firewood can be purchased for DKK 40. Booking of our shelter is done by phone: 60 56 79 05 (Camilla).
