About this spot

Shelter area with 2 shelters, a campfire site, and a table and bench set by the old open-air stage in Legind Bjerge on Mors. The shelter area is established on the former audience slope in front of the stage and is approx. 30 x 40 m large and surrounded by old, tall trees. The open-air stage was previously used for various types of gatherings but has been unused in the clearing for many years. There is relatively easy access to the shelter area from the parking lot at Store Bøgedal by Legindvej. Drinking water and a toilet are available at the parking lot by Legindvejlebroen/A26. The forest was established in 1892 and is located at Legindvej / Sallingsundvej, 7900 Nykøbing Mors. It spans approx. 160 ha and belongs to Plantningsselskabet Legind Bjerge ApS. The primary purpose of Plantningsselskabet is to maintain the forest as a recreational forest with paths, mountain bike routes, a dog forest, and a shelter area, among other things.
