Nørreby shelter

Local efforts have established a shelter on the grounds belonging to the old grocery store in Nørreby. The shelter can be used on a first-come, first-served basis and accommodates approximately 6 people. The shelter is located on the outskirts of the small, cozy town, and from there, you have the opportunity to walk via the Nørreby Hals trail northwards, out to the coast. There is also an opportunity to visit the Nørreby Hals nature area, which is owned by Naturstyrelsen. By Klinte Kirke, there is a path to Sct. Olufs Spring, which is one of the few holy springs left on Fyn. You can also visit the reclaimed landscape by Nærå beach, which is located about 5 kilometers from the shelter. At the shelter site, you will also find an information station with details about the area and Pilotnaturpark Nordfyn. As well as a bike station, where you have the opportunity to make minor repairs to your bicycle before your onward journey. Practical Information: Parking available right by the shelter if you are driving. There is no fire pit, so bring a Trangia or similar for cooking. A toilet trailer is set up by the shop building with 24-hour access from April 1 to November 1. Outside the season, a toilet can be found at Klinte Kirke, approximately 1.2 kilometers away. Water is available at Klinte Kirke. The nearest shopping facilities are in Bogense town, approximately 12 kilometers to the east.
