Tøv Lidt Shelter

A slightly different shelter, set up by HusForbi in 2022 in connection with their 25th anniversary. The shelter may be used by everyone and cannot be booked. It is used on a first-come, first-served basis, but if not all sleeping spaces are used, it is expected that room will be made for others who may arrive later. There is space for 4 adults. There are mosquito nets and a designated campfire site. Additionally, there is an axe, some firewood, a guestbook, a pot, a pan, a kettle, a grill grate, and two chairs. It is permitted to bring a dog on a leash (out of consideration for wildlife and the sheep we have grazing nearby), provided you clean up after it. There is a trash can on the site. The entrance to the forest is found at a gap in the hedge leading out to Fangelvej, between our neighbor Fangelvej 56, 5672 Broby and the town sign for Radby. It is permitted to park the car in the entrance gap. From the entrance, follow the path approximately 75 meters in, past the tent site and the nature playground. It is permitted to use the nature playground (mostly for 1-5 year olds) at your own risk. There is no toilet; it is permitted to urinate in the forest. If you need to do more than that, a spade is provided so you can dig a hole. The shelter is located directly on bicycle route 65 Odense-Faaborg and close to the Margurit-ruten. The bus stops approximately 500m from the forest.
