About this spot
At the edge of the small Lake Peritsø, surrounded by fields, there is a small shelter with space for 3-4 people. Here there is also a fire pit and a small bridge. There are good seating areas around the fire pit and by the shelter – and the floor in the shelter can be folded up as a dining table. Bring drinking water and firewood. The nearest public toilet is at Storring Church, Stjær Church, or Brugsen in Stjær – and drinking water is available at all 3 locations. It is not possible to formally book the shelter, but it can be reserved via the Facebook group “Peritssø Shelter”. The shelter is open for overnight stays from March 1 to October 31. It is free to use the privately owned shelter.
