About this spot
The tent site is very primitive and is located on a forest floor – there are very simple facilities and a reasonably flat surface. The grass is mowed once a year, so expect long grass for parts of the year. The overnight site is open to everyone for both overnight stays and leisure. Use and stay are free. As the publicly owned plot is very small, tents may only be pitched under the birch trees by the pole marking the tent site, and up to 50m from the pole. Please note that there are neighbors close to the site – show consideration for them and their privacy. The site operates on a first-come, first-served basis. There is room for 2-3 small tents on the site. Overnight stays are permitted for two nights. Please note that it is not permitted to light campfires, use open flames, disposable barbecues, or similar at this site. This is due to the thick layer of needles on the forest floor from the conifers, which is highly flammable. It is permitted to use a closed gas stove like a Trangia or similar, if placed on a table. The nearest toilet with water can be found in Snogebæk at Hovedgade 12. Take waste with you when you leave the site or place it in the bin by the parking lot. Access to the site is by foot from the coastal path or by bike on the cycle path. It is also possible to park in the parking lot on Klitvej immediately next to the site. Site coordinates: 55.010646, 15.10615.
