Grande Randonnée du Pays (GRP) 124: Chimay and Viroin & Hermeton Valleys Crossing the Forest of Pays de Chimay - Parc National de L’Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse 13 bivouac zones. The bivouac sites for hikers along GRP 124 La Grande Traversée de La Forêt du Pays de Chimay (GTFPC) were originally a project of the Parc Naturel Viroin-Hermeton in cooperation with forest management ‘DNF’ and several Namur and Hainaut municipalities. Today, the project is managed by Tourisme Pays des Lacs (Charleroi), DNF, the government of the Parc National de L’Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse, and 9 Namur and Hainaut municipalities. Reservation is necessary for many bivouac zones. Campfires are forbidden EVERYWHERE.
