A fantastic place with a view of a picturesque Salbach valley. The owners are very friendly and helpful. At the Gasthof Friedburg you can eat very well and end the day with a beer or wine. Bread roll service is also available. A starting point for tours and hikes from easy to high alpine. The longest illuminated toboggan run in the world (14 kilometers) is here in Neukirchen and there’s a lot more! In Krimml there is the highest waterfall in Europe. Very pleasant bike tours through the side valleys or to Zell am See. Overall, a great place to stay. Many thanks to Norbert and his family. The somewhat steep approach can also be managed without a four-wheel drive, because the owner takes care of clearing the snow. Well, it’s Austria and you should also have snow chains with you.
